Jordan host world football minnows Bangladesh on Thursday (2.30pm) in the first part of a two-match week that will decide the country's footballing destiny over the next two years.
Should they clinch their expected victory, The Nashama will then travel to Australia to meet the group leaders knowing that only a victory on Match 29 will see them pip the Socceroos to the group title and qualification to the next phase of World Cup qualifiers
The matches, which are also qualifiers for the UAE Asian Cup finals next year, will see Jordan managed by former Tottenham Hotspur and West Ham boss Harry Redknapp for the first time. the Englishman has declared that he would like to stay in charge beyond his two game mandate.
