Mohammad Abdel Aziz and Hussein Oshaish won bronze medals at the Germany Open Boxing Championship, showing good form ahead of the crucial Olympic Qualifiers next month.
Abdel Aziz lost in the semi-final of the 56kg category to China's Zhong Guaid 2-1, after beating Kazakhstan's Sabir Criosh 3-0 in the quarters.
Oshaish settled for bronze after losing 3-0 to Croatia's Hago Phillip 91kg semi final. The tournament attracted fighters from 40 countries.
"We are hoping to have more experience in international events and exposing our fighters to boxers from across the world to make them better prepared for the big events,” said Izzedin Akoun, technical manager.
Jordan’s fighters will now head to China for a camp before their last chance to book Rio places through the Asian Qualification event.
