HRH PRINCE FEISAL ATTENDS JORDAN DAVIS CUP MATCH

HRH Prince Feisal Al-Hussein, President of the Jordan Olympic Committee (JOC), and HRH Princess Zeina Al-Feisal have attended Jordan’s Davis Cup match with El Salvador at the Jordan Tennis Federation in Al-Hussein Youth City.
Prior to the match, HRH Prince Feisal spoke with the national team players, thanking them for their efforts and wishing them all well in the best-of-five match with their Central American opponents.
“We are honoured to be hosting a qualifying round of the Davis Cup,” said HRH Prince Feisal. “We wish the players and the technical staff all the best in trying to qualify for the second division and congratulate the Jordan Tennis Federation for their efforts in organising this important match, which again highlights Jordan’s excellent organisational capabilities.”
The Davis Cup is one of sport’s most prestigious competitions, having first been held in 1900. Twenty-four teams will participate in this qualifying phase of the competition, with the 12 winners qualifying for the second vision, while the losing dozen drop to division three.
