Jordan have won an impressive nine medals, including two gold, at the Arab Swimming Championship for age groups in Cairo, Egypt. Amr Hussein gave Jordan its first gold medal in the 50m breaststroke for 14-15 year-olds with a time of 30.42 seconds. Adnan Al-Abdallat added a second gold in the 100m freestyle for the same age group, clocking 52.85 seconds. He also won silver in the 200m backstroke in a time of 2 minutes 10.71 seconds. He picked up a second silver medal in the 200m medley. Five bronze medals were won by Imad Zaben, Nizar Al Sufi, Natasha Al Azuni and Karen Belbesi (2).
