Paralympic Powerlifter Omar Qaradah has won gold medal at the Asian and Oceania Championships being hosted in Pyeongtaek, South Korea.
Qarada, the Tokyo 2020 Paralympic champion and world champion, retained his Asian and Oceania Championships title in the -49kg weight category after lifting 175kg.
His teammate, Moataz Al-Junaidi, won bronze medal in the -97kg category after he lifted 216kg.
The national team will continue its participation on Friday through Tharwat Al-Hajjaj in the -86 kg weight, and Jamil Al-Shibli will appear in the +107kg competition on Saturday.
The national team concludes its participation on Sunday through Abdul Karim Khattab (-88kg) and Asmaa Issa (-79kg).
