The national junior beach handball team picked up win number two at the 2nd Asian Championships taking place in Tehran, Iran.
Their 2-0 victory over Afghanistan followed an opening day win over Qatar, also by 2-0, to ensure they top their group alongside Iran with four points from the two games. The leading pair meet next.
The event has welcomed six teams including Iran, Pakistan, Qatar, Afghanistan, and India, as well as Jordan. The league format will see the the top three qualify for the World Championships in Greece this June.
