LEADERS STUNNED IN BASKETBALL PLAY-OFFS

Al Hurryah, who topped the regular season in the Jordan Basketball League, lost their first match in the post season play-offs on a big night for the sport.
The leaders were beaten by Al Awdah 65-60 in the Prince Hamzeh Hall, shortly after Al Riyadi beat Orthodoxy 73-65 in the same venue.
At Prince Hassan Hall, the matches between the four teams battling to avoid relegation saw Al Jalil beat Al Nashama 52-45 and Koforyoba beat Ghazat Hashim 73-57.
On Monday night Al Awdah play Al Orthodoxy in Prince Hamzeh Hall at 5pm while Al Riyadi meet Al Hurryah in the same venue at 6.30pm. At Al Hassan Hall in Irbid, Ghazat Hashim take on Al Jalil (5pm) and Al Nashama meet Koforyoba (6.30pm).
