Jordan’s five boxers who are competing at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics will learn their fate on Thursday when the draws are made.
Mohammad Al-Wadi (under 57kg), Ubada Al-Kesbah (under 63kg), Ziad Ishaish (under 69kg), Udai Al-Hindawi (under 81kg) and Hussein Ishaish (under 91kg) will be hoping for favourable draws for when the action gets underway at Kokugikan Hall on Saturday.
The hall is renowned as a Sumo Wrestling venue capable of holding 7,300 spectators, but there will be no fans in the venue on Saturday due to the Covid-19 restrictions.
