Jordan’s Paralympic Table Tennis team has clinched doubles gold at the Egypt International Championship taking place in Alexandria.
Fatima Al Azzam teamed up with Fatin Oleimat to take the gold in the women’s doubles by beating Chinese Taipei in the final, 2-1.
Osama Al Jam’ took silver after losing his final to a Thai player.
Maha Al Bargouthi, the Jordan Paralympic Committee Secretary General, expressed her happiness with the team’s achievement.
“We are so happy as this event helped us to earn more points for Olympic qualification,” she said.
