FOOTBALLERS LAUNCH TOKYO 2020 CAMPAIGN

Jordan will launch their bid to reach the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games at the U23 AFC U23 Cup to be hosted in Thailand from January 8-26.

The draw places Jordan in Group D alongside Vietnam, North Korea and UAE. The other groups included:

Group A: Thailand, Iraq, Australia and Bahrain.

Group B: Qatar, Japan, Saudi Arabi and Syria.

Group C: Uzbekistan, South Korea, China and Iran. 

Only three teams will qualify, but if one of those is Olympic hosts Japan then a fourth team will make he cut.
