AL GHARAGHEER LOSES WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS FIGHT

Mohammad Al-Gharagheer has been knocked out of the World Boxing Championships being held in Russia until September 21.

Al-Gharagheer lost his second round fight to World bronze medallist Artor Hovhannisian, of Armenia.

Earlier he launched his campaign with a win over Serbia’s Doosan in the -52kg category.

Olympic boxer Hussein Ishaish will fight next for Jordan on Sunday against Aziz Abbas from Italy in the 91kg weight, while his teammate, Mohammad Al-Wadi, will face Moldova’s Dornne Bocia in a second round fight after beating Croatia’s Ramon in round one last Wednesday.
