Al Ahli have surged to the top of the Jordan Handball League following their tight 23-22 win over Salt at Princess Sumayah Hall in Al Hussein Youth City.
It means Al Ahli remain unbeaten in the league with 12 points, followed by Salt with 10 points in second.
Meanwhile, Hussein Irbid beat Umm Jawza 28-25 in the earlier match at the same venue.
