GYMNAST GOES PROFESSIONAL IN EUROPE

One of Jordan’s top gymnasts has turned professional by moving to compete in Germany. Adham Al Sqour will participate in the tough Bundesliga for Linden, which will see him compete against some of the best gymnasts in Europe.

“This move will really help me develop my talents and become a better gymnast,” said Al Sqour, who will be the only Arab competitor in the league. “This gives me more motivation to try and do well and encourage more young gymnasts from my part of the world to improve themselves. I also have a responsibility to represent my country and the Arab World in the best way possible.”

In his debut for his new club, Al Sqour led his team to a win and was awarded with the best player trophy.
