AL NAJJAR INTO WORLD FINAL

Jordan have a second fighter going for World Karate Series gold on Sunday after Bashar Al Najjar qualified to his final in Chile.

Al Najeer beat Ghabur Harab, from Hungary, with superiority to book his final slot, having earlier won fights against opponents from Finland, Denmark, Spain and Chile.

He will now meet Japan’s Ken Nishimora in the final on the same day that his teammate, Abdullarahman Al Masatfah, goes for gold in the 67kg weight.
