JORDAN HEAD TO ASIAN RUGBY 7S

Jordan have sent a team to compete at the Asian Rugby 7s being held in Singapore this weekend.

A total of 13 nations are entered with Jordan’s squad including: Mohammad Al Majed, Zaid Arabyiat, Ahmad Hamuqa, Mohammad Abu Samra, Taher Hamdan, Aziz Abu Khalaf, Firas Khalifah, Raed Hamuqa, Rakan Ibzagh, Ahmad Abu Al Filat, Zaid Al Kilani and Mohammad Al Sare.

The team will be managed by Head Coach, Graham Forbes and his assistant, Hassan Al Barba’i.

Jordan has been drawn in Group B alongside UAE, Indonesia and Nepal, with Indonesia first up on Saturday.

They won the shield section of the Asian 7s last year in Qatar, and will be looking for more glory this time around.
