YOUNGSTERS BEAT UAE IN ASIAN CHAMPIONSHIPS

Jordan’s young players have recorded a morale boosting victory over the UAE at the U20 Asian Volleyball Championships taking place in Al Manamah, Bahrain.

Jordan, who lost their opener to Hong Kong 3-1, recovered to beat the UAE in Group F.
They now have to await to result of the UAE v Hong Kong match to see whether they will be in the next round.
The event has welcomed 24 teams from Asia and will continue through to July 28.
