JUNIORS FINISH ASIAN ATHLETICS CAMPAIGN

Jordan have ended their participation at the 18th Asian Junior Athletics Championships with some credible performances from the Kingdom’s top U20 track and field athletes.

Mohammad Al Buhairi finished sixth in the High Jump with a leap of 2.06m, and his teammate, Aliya Bushnaq, finished eighth in the 200m final in a time of 25.30s.

Shareif Al Atawneh missed out in the 5000m due to injury.

The event was held in Gifu, Japan and saw 44 events held over four days of competition.
