BUSHNAQ INTO 200M FINALS

Aliya Bushnaq broke the Jordan record on her way to reaching the final of the 200m at the 18th Asian Junior Athletics Championships taking place in Japan.

Bushnaq clocked 24.96 seconds, but her teammate, Masa Al Kashah, missed out.

The 4x100m relay team missed out on the podium places after clocking 48.81 seconds, to finish behind China, Japan and Hong Kong.

Elsewhere, Nour Al Qadi finished a credible eighth in the High Jump.
