JOC LOOKING TO BUILD MORE INTERNATIONAL COLLABORATION

The Jordan Olympic Committee has met with two major international organisation to promote its work and to investigate possible channels of cooperation and development.
The JOC welcomed a delegation from the European Union (EU) to the state-of-the-art Olympic Preparations Centre to promote the work it is doing and to open its doors to possible increased overseas participation.
During the meeting, JOC officials also highlighted projects including the Sporting School, Qusai Initiative and National Coaching Certification Programme.
The JOC also hosted a delegation from the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) to discuss ways to collaborate.
The delegation praised the facilities of the Olympic Preparation Centre and congratulation the JOC on its programmes.
