GOLD FOR MASARWAH IN SOFIA

Hassan Masarweh has clinched gold at the Karate Youth league taking place in Sofia, Bulgaria.
Masarwah took 63kg gold after beating Slovenia’s Chris Ahlen, 3-1.
Earlier, he beat Chile’s Freddy Thomas, Italy’s David Denis and in the quarter-final he beat Bosnia’s Gangik Digan bfore overcoming Macedonia’s Mario Reves to reach the final.
The event has attracted 1,700 of the best young fighters from across the world.
