The Jordan Handball Federation has confirmed that it will be hosting the continent’s best young players when it stages the Asian Junior Handball Championship from September 13-24.
The Organising Committee held its draw for the groups at Al Hussein Youth City in Amman in the presence of International Federation Vice President, Mr. Bader Deyab; Executive Manager at the Asian Federation, Ahmad Abu Al Leel; and Dr. Tayseer Al Mansi, President of the Jordan Handball Federation.
The 16 teams have been divided into four groups:
Group A: Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, China and Oman
Group B: Jordan, Uzbekistan, Chinese Taipei and Palestine
Group C: South Korea, Iraq, India and Syria
Group D: Japan, Qatar, UAE, and Iran
The top two from each group will qualify to the quarter-finals.
