Jordan has at least one team in the last four of the AFC Cup’s West Asian section, after Faisali booked their spot last night.
The reigning league champions’ 1-0 win over Ansar from Lebanon at the Amman International Stadium was enough to advance, with Albanian, Alban Mija, scoring the decisive goal in the 10th minute.
Faisali go through as Group C champions, and will hopefully be joined in the semi-finals by Jazeera, who meet Malkiah, from Bahrain, tonight requiring just a point to go through.
