MORE ATHLETICS GLORY FOR JORDAN

The women’s 4x100m relay team have won another silver medal for Jordan at the 18th Arab Athletics Championships being hosted by the Kingdom.
The team of Anoud Muhaisen, Aliya Bushnaq, Masa Shakah and Maya Nasrawi ran an excellent time of 49.93 seconds to finish second behind Morocco who edged to victory in 49.84 seconds.
Jordan have won seven medals so far including one gold, two silver and four bronzes, while Morocco are leading the medal table.
