WORKING TOGETHER TO END DOPING

The jOrdan Olympic Committee has teamed up with like minded organisations to share knowledge on the best way to eradicate all doping in sport.
The JOC is a regional leader on the war on drugs, and created the Jordan Anti-Doping Organisation to work with federations to catch the cheats and to educate the industry on what is safe to use.
This week they teamed up with the Advocacy Committee from the Deputy Council, representatives from the Youth and Sport Committee, and the Jordan Anti Doping Organisation for a workshop in the Land Mark Hotel, Amman.
The organisations shared best practices and knowledge which the JOC will use to step up further step up its efforts.
“We have been fighting this phenomenon for years,” said JOC Secretary General, Lana Al Jaghbeer: “We support the Jordan Anti Doping Organization to clear all doping from our sports and to make sure that fair play is practiced at all times.
“It’s very important for all to stand together and fight this problem as one.”
The meeting was organised with support from the Jordan Democratic Council and United States Agency for International Development (USAID).
