Jordan has finished third at the 13th Asian Karate Championships that took place in Yokohama, Japan.
The team consisting of Moatasem Khaeir, Mahmoud Al Sajan, Bashar Al Najjar, Hatem Dweik, Khaled Ismail and Nabil Shweiki lost to Japan but then went on to defeat Chinese Taipei and Uzbekistan to take the bronze.
Meanwhile, the officials are also making their mark with head coach Ibrahim Abu Etham and coach Mohammed Fityan passing their tests to upgrade their refereeing qualifications.
