JORDAN SET FOR ITS ‘EL CLASSICO’

The biggest clash on the Jordan football calendar will take place on Friday when Al Feisali and Al Wehdat meet in the final of the Al Manaseer Jordan Super Cup.

Fondly called Jordan’s El Classico after the famous Spanish clash of Real Madrid v Barcelona, the Kingdom’s most supported teams will face off at Irbid’s Al Hassan Stadium.

League champions Al Wehdat will be keen to maintain their domination of recent years with a win that will take them into the league season as title favourites. But Feisali will be looking to make a statement that they are back after narrowly avoiding relegation last year.

A huge crowd is expected and social media campaigns have been run to encourage fair play both on and off the pitch.
