Jordan’s rising swimming starlet Mohammed Bedour has won gold at the 9th Age Groups Asian Swimming Championship in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.
With a Youth Olympic qualifying time already under his belt after winning U17 silver in the 100m freestyle, the youngster won gold in the 50m by nearly half-a-second in a time of 23.52 seconds to confirm his status as one of the sport’s most exciting young talents.
It was an incredible day for Jordan as Talita Baqleh followed up her 50m butterfly silver and 50m backstroke bronze by winning silver in the 50m freestyle in a time of 26.74 seconds.
Her victories came in the category for swimmers born in 1999.
