JOC ANNOUNCES DATE FOR BOARD ELECTION

 With the Kingdom's National Sport Federations concluding their election process, the Jordan Olympic Committee (JOC) has announced that its election will be held on August 16.

The process has begun with JOC Secretary General Nasser Majali inviting Federations to nominate their representative for the General Assembly from which the JOC Board will be elected to serve for the next four years.

The new Board will include four distinguished members, 10 members representing Olympic sports, two members representing non-Olympic sports that are recognised by the IOC, and two seats for athletes that have competed in at least one of the last three Olympic Games, including one female.
