The Jordan Olympic Committee and Jordan Basketball Federation have extended their sincerest wishes for a speedy recovery to national team player Ahmad Al-Dwairi.
The star suffered a complete anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) tear during the Jordan Falcons' match against Chinese Taipei in their group stage opener for the 20th Asian Games, currently taking place in Japan (Nagoya 2026).
Al-Dwairi will undergo surgery in the coming few days before commencing a specialised therapeutic and rehabilitation programme under the supervision of the medical staff to regain his fitness and return to the courts as soon as possible.
Both the Jordan Olympic Committee and Jordan Basketball Federation affirm their full support for the player throughout his treatment and rehabilitation journey until full recovery, enabling him to continue contributing and defending the colours of our national team jersey.
