NATIONAL KICKBOXING CHAMPIONSHIPS LAUNCHED

The Kingdom Kickboxing Championships for Youth, Women, and Men (Tatami disciplines) started today, Thursday, at the Prince Rashid bin Al-Hassan Martial Arts Hall.
Organised by the Jordan Kickboxing Federation, the tournament will run over the course of three days and will have the disciplines of Kick Light, Point Fighting and Light Contact competed for the first time.
Featuring 170 male and 25 female fighters, the tournament will feature a total of 139 bouts, with 47 preliminary-round bouts taking place today involving 94 fighters.
The competitions will continue tomorrow with the quarter-final and semi-final bouts, and will conclude on Saturday with the finals and the medal presentation.
