BEACH WRESTLERS STEP UP TRAINING FOR ASIAN BEACH GAMES

Jordan’s Beach Wrestling team is intensifying its preparations ahead of the 6th Asian Beach Games, set to take place in Sanya, China, from April 22 to 30.
The delegation includes athletes Noura Al-Taybeen, Balqees Al-Taybeen, Tala Abu Kheit, Abdulkarim Abu Daeij, Zaid Masleh, and Abdullah Makoun, under the supervision of the technical staff led by men’s team coach Ramzi Al-Marafi and women’s team coach Raed Al-Qaisi.
Men’s team coach, Ramzi Al-Marafi, emphasised the players’ strong commitment during the preparation period, stating: “We have a talented group of athletes capable of competing, and we aim to deliver a performance that reflects the development of Jordanian wrestling.”
Meanwhile, women’s team coach, Raed Al-Qaisi, noted that the participation represents an important opportunity for athletes to gain continental-level experience, adding: “The players have shown very good performances recently, and there is clear progress in their level. We are confident in their ability to compete strongly and achieve positive results.”
Beach wrestling competitions at the Games are scheduled to take place on April 28 and 29.
