HANDBALL READY FOR ASIAN BEACH GAMES

Jordan’s Handball team is ready for the 6th Asian Beach Games, scheduled to take place in Sanya, China, from April 22-30.
The squad includes Ali Ja’ara, Abdulwadood Ananzeh, Hamza Khaldoun, Hassan Asha, Ahmad Mansi, Ahmad Al-Attabi, Ibrahim Abu Rumman, Amer Sayahin, Ahmad Al-Bas, and Ahmad Obeidat, alongside the technical staff led by coaches Baha Fathallah and Ahmad Al-Rawashdeh, with physiotherapist Shadi Al-Sukran.
The draw placed Jordan in Group B alongside Oman, Pakistan, Maldives, Bangladesh, Thailand, Qatar, and Mongolia. Group A includes China, Iran, Philippines, Hong Kong, India, Sri Lanka, and Bahrain.
Head coach, Baha Fathallah said that the players’ morale is high and preparations are progressing according to plan, noting that this squad represents a continuation of the generation that achieved the historic qualification to the Youth World Cup in 2022.
Jordan will begin its campaign on April 21 with matches against Thailand and Maldives, before facing Pakistan on April 23, Bangladesh and Qatar on April 24, Oman on April 26, and will conclude its group stage matches against Mongolia on April 27.
