JOC CONDUCTS LIFESAVING COURSE
Apr 09, 2026
The Life Support Training Centre at the Jordan Olympic Committee (JOC) organised a Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) course on Thursday for staff of the Al-Rifaq Mental Health Services Centre, with participation from doctors, therapists, and JOC physical conditioning coaches.
The course comes as part of the JOC’s ongoing efforts to enhance first aid awareness and improve the competencies of professionals working within the sports sector.
The training also included an evaluation visit by the American Heart Association (AHA), represented by Mohammad Al-Muzayen, Senior International Programs Manager based in Dubai, to ensure that training programmes are delivered in line with the Association’s approved standards.
The AHA praised the performance of the Life Support Training Centre, confirming its full compliance with international standards in delivering training courses. This evaluation is part of the centre’s reaccreditation process, during which it achieved a full score in both performance assessment and course documentation—reflecting the high quality of its training programs and the efficiency of its staff.
