Karate youngsters vie for national titles

The best young fighters have been going for gold at the National Junior and Youth Karate Championships held at Prince Rashid Hall in Al Hussein Youth City.
The tournament welcomed 300 fighters from 30 clubs and Ismail Al-Batoush, a member of the Jordan Karate Federation, said that it is part of the federation plan to develop the sport across the Kingdom.
Meanwhile, the national teams continue their preparations to participate at the World Championship for Juniors, Youth and U21, which will be hosted by the Turkish city of Konya from October 26-30.
