INDONESIA PREPARES TO IMPRESS

The Organising Committee of the 18th Asian Games that will be held in Jakarta, Indonesia, has promised to impress the world at tomorrow’s Opening Ceremony.

More than 4,000 dancers will perform at the ceremony which will get underway at 1pm (Jordan Time) until around 6pm.

Under the theme Feel The Energy of Asia, the performance will reflect the country’s development with a dozen pop stars also confirmed to sing on a giant stage measuring 120mx30m.

“It is important that the Opening Ceremony showcases Indonesia’s natural beauty and cultural diversity,” said Creative Director, Wishnutama Kusubandio. “We have collaborated with musicians, creative teams and Indonesia’s best production team.”
