1. How did you get into your sport?
I used to play various sports including Football and Basketball but at 13 I played badminton for the first time. In 2003 I started to practice badminton intensively and won several schools Championship. This achievement led me to the national team in 2008 and under the supervision of my Coach Yousef Abu Munther I become Arab Champion in 2010.
2. What have been your main achievements?
It was when I earned the title of "Arab Champion" because I was the first Jordanian to achieve this.
3. How do you think your sport can be improved?
We need stronger development plans for juniors and encourage them to do their best and represent their country very well.
4. How do you see the future in your sport?
My own personal future depends on how I do in badminton. I will try to study for a physical education degree to become a sorts coach in the future.
5. How do you spend your time away from sport?
I spend most of my time studying because I need to get more marks in order to go to university.
6. What are your main hobbies / interests?
In the past I used to play Football and Basketball and sometimes I go for shopping with my friends.
7. What ‘saying’ do you believe in...
"You reap what you sow"
8. Who do you consider as your idol?
My brother, gymnastic champion Jad Mazahreh, because he has always supported me.
9. Who are your favorite overseas and local athletes?
Locally my coach Yousef Abu Munther. I can see my future through his words. Internationally, the Argentinean footballer Lionel Messi because he is more than talented!
10. Which player would you like to play against?
Syrian Champion Sana'a Mahmoud who won the Arab Championship in 2011.
11. If you could roll back time, would you choose Badminton or another sport?
Badminton and nothing else. It's more than sport for me. Badminton is my life so there is no way I’d choose anything else.
12. What kind of Music you like and what is your favorite film?
I like Majeda Al Romi because it is music that makes me feel relaxed. Shad Love Story is the best Movie that I have seen.
13. If you had one wish what would it be?
I wish to compete against world Champions.
14. What message or advice would you like to give youngsters coming into sport?
Focus on your sport, follow the Coach's instructions and respect your sport as you respect yourself.
15. What is your Favorite food?
Mansaf.
16. If you had five flowers, who would you give one to?
One to my lovely parents. A second for HRH Prince Feisal Al Hussein, who is the Father of Sport in Jordan. The third to my Coach Yousef Abu Munther. The fourth to the Jordan Badminton Federation and the fifth of course to the Jordanian people.
