Jordan Swimming Federation
About the Federation:
The Swimming Federation was established in 1976 under the presidency of Mr. Abdullah Abu Nowar, and the first national team was established that same year.
In 1999 the Olympic Swimming Pool was established inside Al Hussein Sport City by the Amman Greater Municipality in preparation for the Pan Arab Games that was held in Jordan.
The Jordan Swimming Federation is a member in the International, Asian, Arab and the Mediterranean Swimming Federations.

Achievements:
- The International gathering in Casablanca in 2008: 4 gold, 1 silver, 7 bronze
- International Cairo Shell Swimming Championship in 2008: 5 gold, 3 silver, 10 bronze National team had new record
- Beijing Olympic Games in 2008: Razan Fareed had new record in 50 m race
- Hosting the 17th Arab School Championship in 2008: 3 gold, 3 silver, 9 bronze Jordan Team achieved the 5th place between 9 participating countries.
- World Swimming Championship - Australia in 2007 National team had 9 new records
- Mediterranean Swimming Championship – Cyprus in 2007 3 gold, 2 silver, 12 bronze National team had 3 new records
- 11th Pan Arab Games – Egypt in 2007 2 bronze
- Al Asad 4th International Long Swimming Championship – Syria in 2006 5th place between 8 participating countries
- The 11th Mediterranean Swimming Championship in 2005 Jordan Swimming Federation hosted the 11th Mediterranean Swimming Championship

- World Swimming Championship – Canada in 2005 National Team had 3 new records
- 4th Asian Swimming Championship – Bangkok in 2005 National Team had 4 new records
- West Asian Games – Qatar in 2005 Jordan Achieved the 5 place with 11 medal as the following: 1 gold, 6 silver, 4 bronze
