Jordan Fencing Federation About the federation:
The first official fencing federation was established in 1983 under the
presidency of Mr. Mohammad Al Smadi.
However, fencing was first played in Jordan following a Royal Decree in 1955
when the Jordan Armed Forces were the first to play. The first national fencing
team was established in 1957 and participated in the 2nd Pan Arab Games in
Beirut.
