Wehdat moved to the top of Group C in the AFC Asian Cup following their 2-1 win over Oman’s Saham at King Abdullah stadium in Al Qweismeh.
Saham scored first through Mohammad Al Ghassani in the 14th minute, while Palestinian Ahmad Maher levelled for Wehdat in the 27th.
Mohammad Mustafa then scored the winner in the 49th minute.
Wehdat lead the group (7 points) followed by Bahrain’s Al Muharaq (4 points), while Lebanon's Al Nejmeh and Oman's Saham are third with 3 points each.
Meanwhile, Al Ahli returned from Oman with one point following their Group A 0-0 draw with Oma’s Sweeq.
Al Ahli are third with two points while Syria's Al Jaish lead the group (6 points) followed by Iraqi Al Zawra’a (5 points).
