The JOC is the non-profit governing body for sport in Jordan which has 34 Federations under its umbrella consisting of both Olympic and non-Olympic sports.
Under the Presidency of HRH Prince Feisal Al Hussein, sport in Jordan is being improved in a consistent line and JOC has set up many plans and laws that develop sport in all aspects, Jordan is attending all the sport events and has many medals.
The JOC has become a model for administrative excellence and hosted many Arab, Asian and International Championships.
And as an appreciation to Jordan HRH Prince Feisal Al Hussein was chosen to be a member in IOC Women and Sport Committee in 2007 and was elected as an IOC member 2010.
JOC also was described in 2010 as being in ‘the World's Top 10' of National Olympic Committees by International Olympic Committee President, Dr Jacques Rogge.
